Pictorial endsheets. The book is in very good condition, and the dust jacket is in good plus condition, with mild rubbing and creasing. There are numerous closed and small open tears in the edges. The longest closed tear is surrounded by a minor damp stain, and measures 2 inches long. At the time of publication, Ted Grant was one of Canada's most sought after photojournalists, and in 1967, he was awarded a gold medal at the Travel Photography International Competition in Japan.
