. (illustrator). Very Good/VG: clean, straight, unmarked, paper aged evenly; jacket clean & whole, lightly rubbed exterior rear, in clear archival protector. HB in jacket. This is apparently a unique copy, printed on different paper than all the other Walker editions listed on ABE; for this copy shows even aging throughout the paper, which is mentioned nowhere else. It would be a fine copy except for the aging of the paper. Nevertheless, ignoring the obvious collectibility, it is priced to sell. .

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good+. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good dj. Illustrated by (dj design) Edgar Blakeney (illustrator). First Edition. (price-clipped) [good solid book, upper corners bumped, browning to pages due to cheap paper used; jacket mildly scuffed and edgeworn, a couple of small tears and associated creasing at top of front panel, ragged u-shaped tear at top of rear panel (minimal paper loss)]. Novel set slightly in the then-future (1971), in which London "is tense and depressing as nascent neo-fascist organizations work, both covertly and overtly, to prevent Negro immigration," with the government "convinced that it must discover who or what group lies behind the spurt of provocations, the sudden eruptions of violence and madness." All sounds a little too familiar, in Donald Trump's America.
