Hardcover. First Ed; later printing. Very Good+ in Good- DJ: Book shows indications of careful use; just a touch of wear to extremities; binding square and secure; text clean. DJ shows light wear to the extremities; moderate rubbing and faint but pervasive soiling; there are several large, closed tears that have been repaired from verso; the price has not been clipped. Overall, remains a clean, sturdy, presentable copy showing only minor wear in a badly torn but intact -through-repair DJ. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. 239pp. Profusely illustrated with Photographs in Color and black & white. First Ed; later printing [1978]. Hardback with DJ. Weatherman's Colored Glasswear of the Depression Era is by far the best book on depression glass of them all. While there are more up to date and more thorough books out there, this is a wonderful book that's fun to read and the author obviously loved the topic and wanted others to have a starting point as well. Although this is my oldest book on depression glass, it's opened far more than some of the newer books. There are some patterns not listed, and others with names that we now know are wrong, but the patterns are represented well and the pictures while mostly black and white, still highlight the patterns. Recommended. I thought I would just look at the pictures, but I read it word for word and even went back to read some sections again. I love it!.
