Buch. Condition: Neu. Neuware - Die beiden Bände der HKA mit Calderón-Übersetzungen legen zum ersten Mal eine kritische Edition der autos sacramentales vor, die Eichendorff aus dem Spanischen des 17. Jahrhunderts ins Deutsche übertragen hat. Die Texte sind zu Eichendorffs Lebzeiten nur einmal (1. Teil: 1846, 2. Teil: 1853) und später auch nur noch ein weiteres Mal (1958) vollständig gedruckt worden. War schon der Erstdruck durch zahlreiche Druckfehler entstellt, so gelangten im Nachdruck neue Fehler und Mißverständnisse in die Texte. Der Herausgeber dieses vorausgeschickten zweiten Teils hat die korrumpierten Stellen durch den Vergleich mit Eichendorffs Vorlage, der Apontes-Ausgabe der Werke Calderóns, emendieren können, so daß nun erstmalig der intendierte und authentische Text greifbar wird. Angesichts der dürftigen Überlieferungslage gewinnen zwei erhaltene handschriftliche Fragmente besonderes Gewicht. Sie werden in einer genetischen Darstellung geboten und erlauben so einen Einblick in Eichendorffs Übersetzer-Werkstatt. Die Kommentare haben als Calderón-Kenner ausgewiesene Romanisten verfaßt. In den Einleitungen wird der Text literarhistorisch kontextualisiert und der Leser für das Spiel der Allegorien vorbereitet. Die Einzelstellenerläuterungen - mit Klärungen der theologischen und poetologischen Sachverhalte - konfrontieren Eichendorffs Wortlaut mit wörtlichen Übersetzungen. Es dürfte interessant sein zu sehen, wie Eichendorff Calderóns Rationalität in sein eigenes, spätromantisches Idiom verwandelt. Auch ideologiegeschichtlich ist die Publikation dieser katholischen Lehrstücke während der Zeit preußischer Kulturhegemonie aufschlußreich.

Neuware - Dieser Band mit Eichendorffs Manuel- und Calderón-Übertragungen beschließt die dreibändige Abteilung mit den Übersetzungen aus dem Spanischen innerhalb der HKA (die Bände XV/2 und XVI liegen bereits vor). Erstmalig wird eine kritische Edition der deutschen Fassungen von Manuels um die Mitte des 14. Jahrhunderts entstandenem Roman 'El Conde Lucanor' und von fünf um die Mitte des 17. Jahrhunderts geschriebenen autos sacramentales Calderóns geboten, die Eichendorff 1840 bzw. 1846 veröffentlicht hat. Der 'Graf Lucanor' ist in einer textidentischen Ausgabe zu Eichendorffs Lebzeiten ein zweites Mal (1843), die Geistlichen Schauspiele sind nur dieses eine Mal erschienen. Waren schon die Erstdrucke vor allem der Dramen durch zahlreiche Druckfehler entstellt, so gelangten im einzigen vollständigen Nachdruck (1958) neue Fehler und Mißverständnisse in die Texte.Der Herausgeber hat die korrumpierten Stellen durch den Vergleich mit Eichendorffs Vorlagen, der Keller-Edition des 'Conde' und der Apontes-Ausgabe der Werke Calderóns, emendieren können, so daß nun erstmalig der intendierte und authentische Text greifbar wird. In den Einleitungen zu den Kommentaren wird der Text literarhistorisch kontextualisiert und mit den Ergebnissen der romanistischen Philologie konfrontiert.
