Cloth. Condition: Very Good -. Dust Jacket Condition: No Jacket As Issued. Various Children of the 1940's. (illustrator). First Edition. This is an interesting book in that the illustrations were all drawn by children whose names and ages are on the flip side of the back loose end page. They were probably from the Chicago area because the illustrations were contributed by the Art Director of Chicago Public Schools. I'm listing this in 2012 . . . and most of the children would now be 90, give or take a couple years. I rated the book a VG - because there are some "school markings" on the front paste down end page.
