This is a small prayer book with 13 pages of verse/chants in veneration of the Mother of God, plus 4 pages of notes. Red cloth covers with gilded titling, stains/edge wear on the front cover. Historical and Liturgical Notes by Donald Attwater. ~Pale brown linen, with some toning (particularly around the spine), lettered in red and black on front board. Printed in red & black on laid paper. Top edges trimmed, other edges untrimmed. Blindstamp of 'St Dominic's Priory. Stone Staffs' to front free endpaper, with pencil library marks. Tipped in frontis: b/w photo of Vincent McNabb. With loose card (colour reproduction of illumination from Burgundy Breviary of St. Anne teaching the Virgin to read, British Museum, Harley MS 2897), signed by Fr. Vincent McNabb. Card has address label of 'St Dominic's Priory, Southampton Road, London, N.W.5.' (where McNabb spent his final years from 1920 onwards), and inscription: 'St. Anne, pray for us.
