Records an expedition by dogsled to the delta of the Yukon River to document the local avifauna. Bookplate of Frederick L. Ott on the front endpaper. Name stamp of the Ron Sauey Memorial Library on the top page edge, no other institutional marks to the text or cloth binding. Ron Sauey was co-founder of the International Crane Foundation, Baraboo, Wisconsin. A fine copy in a slightly edge worn but very good dust jacket.
