Book First Edition
Cloth. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. First Edition. Red boards with top pages in red. There is a remnant of the dust jacket enclosed. On it in part is said by Alexander; "I have attained my goal. Had I been shot in 1918 I would have died regretting lots of things. Now I regret nothing." Towards the end of his days, Alexander also said: "The violinist has stopped playing. Everybody has left." This is a sad book . As with so many episodes in history, in retrospect they(the Romanovs) were not as vile as their successors. Tsar Nicholas was certainly more humane than Putin.
