The history and culture of Argyll is profiled here, with illustrations by Frances Walker. Foreward by The duke of Argyll. Limited edition of 500 copies. The limitation page of this copy is not numbered though. This edition was to be signed by both Marion Campbell and The Duke of Argylll, this copy is only signed by the Duke. 267 pages with Index, 5-3/4" X 8-3/4". The dust jacket is not price clipped. Original price of £4.95 is printed on the bottom corner of the front flap. Jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Sturdy blue cloth covered boards, with the title and author name on the spine in gold, along with a beautiful Argyll design. Detailed map of the area on the front and back paste-down-first flyeaf pages. Blue top-stain on the top edge is just slightly faded towards the spine. Edges of the text block have just a couple very faint age foxing dots. Binding is tight and square. Not a library discard copy. The attached photos are of the copy we have in our inventory.
