No Binding. Condition: Collectible-Very Good. 4 page letter sheet, with brief autograph letter headed "N. Shields" and signed by Knowles requesting a favor of his friend "Roxby who is engaged at the St. James's". (English actor Robert Roxby, 1809-1866). No date (c.1850). One page letter, two blanks, folded, with portion of last page with address. A little soiled, and not entirely decipherable. Knowles (1784-1862) was an English actor and playwright. He was the cousin of Richard Brinsley Sheridan. Signed by Author(s).
