Hardcover. Condition: Good+. Illustrated by Authors (illustrator). Binding is loose, but all plates are attached. Spine is partly split, but intact. Corners bumped. Light dampstain on bottom and top corner of the plates and lower edge of rear cover. Front free endpaper is detatched. ; Chromolithographs show Union army camp scenes and songs. All plates are present and colors are brilliant. Reed devoted his life to serving the cause of the army and was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor "for distinguished gallentry at the battle of Gettysburg." ; Chromo-lithograph; Oblong 12mo 7" - 7½" tall.
