Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. Illustrated by W.H.D. Koerner (illustrator). 1st Edition. Some rub to front panel of what we presume is the original, black-and-sepia, first-edition 1919 dust jacket, which is priced "$1.50 Net" to jacket spine, and which we'll grade "fair-to-good." (Uncommon in original jacket) Also some tidemarks from dampness to edges of jacket REAR panel. The first 11 film adaptations (1918-1927, two of them starring Lionel Barrymore) were silent.
