Softcover 8vo in decorative pumpkin-colored wrappers is in VG condition: very clean, binding strong & straight, pages creamy white & unmarked with mild tanning, heaviest to edges. "This book belongs to" page in front has wrinkling & a small tear to fore edge side. Modest edgewear, light external soil, & protective acetate coating is peeling at all corners & bottom edges, with a small chip to bottom-outer corner of front cover. Books have hard pictorial covers with minor rubbing/chipping to edges/spine, minor soiling, minor scribble to front of one book. Contents of books are fairly clean with minor soiling and minor scibbling inside two. They come in their original pictorial card slipcase - this is in fair condition with a little creasing/squashing, tear to one side repaired with tape, minor scuffing/soiling. Charming colour illustrations throughout. These lovely little books are based on the Brownies of Canadian illustrator and author Palmer Cox. The Brownies appeared in a number of books and comic strips and very extremely popular, so much so that the Kodak Brownie camera was named after them. This boxed set uses Cox's illustrations with additional text by Robert and Pam Kraus. Only 3 out of 4 books are present.

NOT ex-library, but definitely a well-loved copy. Book.
