Seller: Autumn Leaves, Allentown, PA, U.S.A.
Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. Reprint. Nice Civil War history. This title appears to have been reprinted a number of times. This particular printing is not dated, but probably goes back to the early years of the 20th century or shortly before. It is part of the St. Nicholas Series for Boys and Girls, although why it was thought that this book, all text and no pictures, should appeal to children is a mystery. The endpapers and the first page (which is detached) are heavily tanned, but the rest of the book was printed on better paper and is sound and sturdy. The binding is loosening at the hinge but still holding. This copy was withdrawn from a library, but has almost no markings.; Ex-library.
