Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. First Edition. 1st printing stated on dj flap; pp 159, boards. A thorough history of the area. The table of contents of each of several sections shows biographical & genealogical essays on quite a few old families (24 families under the Union Springs section). Illustrated with line drawings. Edited by William H. and Ruby M. Garner. The first 67 pages are a town history of Union Springs, the county seat. Includes material on the Feagin family. The county history - second half of book - is written by Elizabeth Griswold Black. A 1970s Chamber of Commerce-type travel brochure for Bullock county is laid in. Former private owner's inked name and a few notes on the blank front paste-down endpaper, else VG+ in worn but basically presentable dust jacket.
