Brown cloth with gold lettering on spine. Top of all pages tipped in gold. Uneven pages. Work is profusely illustrated with the copperplate engravings portraying beautiful examples of Elizabethan Architecture found in classical structures throughout the United Kingdom. Some bumping and age wear to spine, some scuffing to rear board, hinges slightly starting, some minor yellowing to pages due to age, otherwise book is in good condition.

It has a brown leather spine with bright gilt lettering. Leather continues over the covers and in the corners of the boards. This is the second (& best) edition that is much expanded.

The text and illustrations are clean and bright.
