He revitalized the waning Baroque style, and indeed moved it to the less severe, more naturalistic, less formally classical Rococo. Illustrated throughout with fifty tinted plates. In a cloth binding. Externally, sound, though with some marks and slight wear to the extremities. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright, though with some foxing to the text.
