Ob nämlich die literarische Form der commentarii allmählich vernachlässigt und Caesar unwillkürlich zum darstellenden Historiker wird , oder ob Caesar nicht zum darstellenden Historiker wird , sondern sich lediglich der historiographischen Mittel bedient, um seine commentarii an bestimmten Punkten mit einer größeren formalen Energie auszustatten , auf jeden Fall scheint sich der Verfasser der Kommentarien entweder allmählich oder an bestimmten Punkten eines anderen Erzählstils zu bedienen als zu Beginn bzw. in den übrigen Partien seiner Darstellung. Die vorliegende Arbeit hofft sowohl zur Präzisierung als auch zur Klärung dieses Problems einen Beitrag zu leisten. 252 pp. Deutsch.
