First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Christine Chisholm (illustrator). 1st Edition. Fiddlers' Fair was written by May Justus and illustrated by Christine Chisholm. The book was published by Albert Whitman & Company in 1945 and appears to be a First Edition though it's not specifically stated as such. It's an ex-library copy in good condition, has no dust jacket, and has been rebound by the library in nice, sturdy, pictorial boards. The book has library markings and the library wear from many children's hands having turned the pages . . . with some occasional smudges. Nevertheless the book should be quite readable for many more years, and Chisholm's, both black-and-white and color, are still neat and portray an older America. His color illustrations are particularly vibrant. The book is 7 5/8" by 9 3/8" and has 32 pages . . . charm and nostalgia. There will be no shipping and handling charge for residents of the United States and an equivalent discount will be given to international buyers. Thank you!.
