Paperback. Condition: Very Good condition. NOT a library discard (illustrator). Privately Published INSCRIBED / SIGNED by the AUTHOR directly on the title page. Flat, uncreased spine. Sharp corners. The book is almost AS NEW -- obviously never read -- but is rated only Very Good due to waviness (but NO stain) to the bottom margin of pages at the end. Still a bright, clean, solid reading copy. Part One is entitled: A History of the Mexican People. Parts 2 and 3 are genealogical chapters on the Diaz and Garcia families. Part 4 begins the Life and Times of Felix G. Diaz -- an autobiography of a "lifelong resident" of the Victor Valley, California. Diaz served on the Victorville City Council, was a counselor at Victor Valley College, coached the college basketball and track teams. He was the founder/director of Alternatives, a gang/drug intervention program. In 1993 Diaz was appointed by President Clinton and Governor Pete Wilson to the Selective Service System Board. Diaz was awarded The Hispanic Advocate of the Year, 2002 and has received many other honors. INSCRIBED / SIGNED by the AUTHOR. 1st ed? (No additional printings listed). Softcover.
