Hardcover. Condition: Fair. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dustjacket. First Edition. ISBN . B001289WNU Small hardback. No dustjacket as issued. Bound in Pictorial Boards. Original 1938 edition. Tight sound copy with average wear overall, but pretty much a tight sound reading copy only due to entire length of the spine reinforced with black cloth library tape as well as the interior front and back hinge, some slight clear magic tape repairs to closed tears on a few of the interior pages and some slight pencil squiggles on 4 or 5 interior pages also. Still a presentable copy of the charming original 1938 edition. No Signature.

Book First Edition
Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Thin oblong. No. W959. Eight leaves, including wrappers, each with three perforated cut-outs, therefore 24 (unused) "pop-out" kitten characters .Each with a character description on the verso and be free standing. The book's scarcity is due to the fact that it is fragile and is designed to be an activity toy it would usually be pulled apart. I think this is one of four books the other three having already been separated as the top edge is serrated. This book four however I am unable to trace any information on WorldCat or on any other books from the series. All pages and characters are present and still fixed within the perforations except on the final page, which is also the rear cover, has two characters and the lower edge detached. Some age toning to the covers, otherwise unmarked with no inscriptionSize: 9-3/4 x 3-3/4 inches (95 x 248mm).
