This set of books was first published in 1940 this being the third edition of 1943. A treatise on the art of fixing fractures of the human skeleton and injuries to their joints into volumes. Both volumes show softening of the back edges along with some rubbing; rubbing of the lower book edges with bumping of the book corners. Some Rubs and marks to the book panels with uniform light tanning of the text block edges. Some faint foxing of the block edges and of the end pages. Previous owners name to the top edge of the free front end pages light offset tanning to both volumes. Third Edition. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall. Please refer to accompanying picture (s).
