Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Fine. First Edition. 1st printing. Pictorial 4to hardbound. (33pp). Illustrated by the artist-author. Signed by Lewis. This is one of the most beautiful "children's illustrated" books I have ever offered. Great artistry, along with a spare story line that powerfully & authentically represents the totemic meaning of many Pacific Northwest coastal peoples. Primary motif has to do with the frog people & the "supernatural relatedness of animal people and human people." Author's notes in rear are masterfully written. Fine in dj.
