Endpapers showing scenes from movie with Paul Muni, 8 x 5.5, decorated cloth, 257 pp, covers worn and soiled, hinges loose, front inner hinge cracked, contents toned, ink name. Whomever wrote his name in this book scratched out the SIGNED INSCRIPTION FROM THE AUTHOR on a special "Souvenir Edition, The Steel Pier, Atlantic City New Jersey" inserted page. Still readable inscription and signature, but . . . Sad, sad, sad. SWAF.

Inscribed and signed by Burns, dated 1934. 8vo in light blue cloth, title and devices in dark blue, photo-illustrated endsheets. Moderate rubbing to the cloth, front hinge blown, heavy offsetting to the title page. The dustjacket is lightly toned overall, modest rubbing at the corners and spine ends, one small chip at the bottom of the front panel. Signed By Author.
