Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Occasional thumb-marking present. Some light creasing to a few pages. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. crushing to spine ends with small splits and loss to top end of spine. Mild tanning to spine and edges. Splits along joints. Scuffing and light marking overall. White scuffed marking to all surfaces.

With an extra 2pp foreword by the George Norman, then Mayor of Dover, and a presentation plate on the front paste down indicating that the volume was presented by the Borough of Dover to one Betty Husk in commemoration of the Coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth on May 12th 1937. (Boards and strong and square, a little rubbed and rounded at corners, chipped at spine ends, with short cracked flap at base of spine. Internally neat, clean and tight.
