"Gesture and Rank in Roman Art: The Use of Gestures to Denote Status in Roman Sculpture and Coinage" was Volume XIV of the series "Memoirs of the Connecticut Academy of Arts & Sciences". Illustrated with in-text b/w plates. Includes two original, signed letters dated September 17 & October 16, 1963 with resume by the author to Professor S. Wight at UCLA. At the time, Brilliant was Asstistant Professor of History of Art at the University of Pennsylvania. Wrappers in fair, internally in very good condition.
