This is an Original, complete issue of 16 pages dated July 15, 1854 -- Vol. 7, No. 2 -- Illustrated With Wood Cut Engravings -- Pages are tight, nice condition -- This Publication has one of the most Ornate Mastheads with a wood cut engraving of Boston Harbor with many ships in the Harbor, covers one third of the Front Page -- The Front Page has a Very Large engraving titled "Farm Work For July" depicting farmers bringing in the wheat -- Page 20 has 2 large engravings titled "Silk Manufacture In Algeria--Spinning Silk", and "The Queen Of England In Her State Carriage" -- Page 24 has 2 Large Engravings titled "Pennsylvania Hospital, Pine Street, Philadelphia", and "Insane Asylum, West Philadelphia" -- Page 25 has 2 Large Engravings titled "Rocky Glen, Village of Sing Sing, New York", and "Brookline, Massachusetts, From Above The Road, Five Miles From Boston" -- Page 28 has a nice engraving titled "Birthplace Of Shakespeare, At Stratford-upon-Avon" -- Page 32 has a very large engraving titled "Sitting In The Stocks" -- Stories by: Rev. Luther Farnham; Lucy Linwood; F. Gleason; Rev. Henry Bacon; and Lieutenant Murray; -- Other Engravings as well as articles and stories.
