Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. Book Club Edition. Originally published in 1990 as a paperback original which won both the Aurora Award and the HOMer Award, this 1991 SFBC #18845 book club edition is the first hardcover of Robert Sawyer's first novel. This copy is flat signed (no inscription) by Sawyer on its title page. The book is in near fine condition, marred only by a trace of spine lean, plus a light bump at top of spine. Binding is tight, with no reading crease in spine. Boards are sharp cornered, unfaded, unmarked and otherwise unworn, with bright gilt titles on spine. Pages are unmarked and unworn. Not a remainder. The unclipped dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is also in near fine condition: bright, whole and unmarked, with very light wear at bottom of spine, and faint traces of wear at corners. As with all Space Age Book purchases, I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its proud new owner in the same condition as my description.
