Very good, some modest corner rounding and a small peel, Sinclair's "expose" on the effect that interlocking directorates had on American higher learing institutions. This work was one of the most widely read and distributed of the six so-called "Dead Hand" series of examination of American institutions--art, literature, religion, jourmalism, elmentary and secondary education.

The spine strip is a little faded and its top and bottom edges a little frayed. The back board has a 1 in. stain. A third of the front pastedown had been torn loose. It is now glued down. The back endpaper's fold has a meandering closed tear. It is tipped back together. The bottom margins of the front free endpaper, the frontal matter pages, and pages 1-18 each have a peeled tear, now tipped back together with glue. Two pages each have stains, mostly on the margins.
