This book is part of a thirty-six-volume biographical series titled, English Men of Letters, which was edited by John Morley and written by different authors. This book is no. 23 of 36 in the series. One page in the front lists other books in the series that had been released to date. Biography of Thomas Gray (1716-1771), an English poet, scholar, and professor. One of his most well-known poems is Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard.
