Grey textured cloth boards with debossed woodcut-style brown illustration on front cover, and gilt lettering over brown stamped label on spine. Includes both Hebrew and Italian (rear of book) title pages. The publication is a high quality facsimile reproduction of the famous Mantova (Mantua) Haggadah of 1560, the first illustrated Haggadah printed in Italy. Profusely illustrated throughout with woodcut-style illustrations and ruling, featuring cherubs and medieval motifs. Four page folded introductory insert laid in at interior front cover, and a 9 page stapled insert of a reproduction of the post-meal blessing ("according to the Sephardic and Italian tradition") laid into a pocket at interior back cover. Text in Hebrew. Slipcase with some light smudges, scratches and with some bumping and rubbing to corners. Slipcase in very good-, binding and interior in overall near fine condition.
