Contemporary gilt, acid calf with morocco labels, marbled endpapers. Spines a bit dry, wear at edges often heavy with loss of leather at corners, edges dyed red with some some leak into margins in a few spots, scattered foxing and toning to pages including to plates, though largely in the margins, a few minor paper flaws, creases, small tears at corners, endpapers lacking on vol II, a few hinges and joints are tender; mostly quite clean and still generally very sound and attractive overall.
