Original dark green cloth with some rubbing and mild staining; spine ends bumped with small chip near head; slight flaking to spine's otherwise still fairly bright gilt stamping; slight wear to board corners with light bumping to top corners as well. Reddish-purple text block edges. Floral patterned endpapers; old ink ownership inscription on front pastedown; occasional foxing at interior page margins but most prevalent upon several initial and late leaves; shallow staining diminishing inward at top fore-edge corners of early leaves.
