Book First Edition
Soft cover. Condition: Fine. First Edition. Souvenir Program with two additional b/w 8 x 10 promotional photos of the band laid in, along with correspondence between a promoter and the band's booking manager, John Clark. Very Scarce. According to various sources, Doug Clark and the Hot Nuts were the inspiration for Otis Day and the Knights featured in Animal House. A premier college and fraternity party band of the 1960s that still exists today with other performers, Doug Clark and the Hot Nuts boasted in their promotional materials of the campuses from which they had been banned due to the riske natural of their song lyrics, and the group's name, "Hot Nuts". This souvenir program is also a history of the band up to 1967, with extensive material outlining the group's development and line-up changes.
