Condition: Fair. 1948. No Edition Remarks. 261 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth. Black and white and colour illustrated plates. Light foxing and tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Moderate cracking to gutters causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Pen inscription to dedication page. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has light tanning with minor fraying, splitting and crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.

This is a hardcover book with 235 pages including many illustrations. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. The pages are clean with no soiling, writing, or tears. The copyright page shows 1948 as the published date. The dust jacket shows some light edgewear and there is a short (1/2 inch) closed tear and a three inch closed tear on the top of the front (No Chips). I have placed the DJ in a fresh mylar jacket and this old book looks and feels great! We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!.
