Lawrence Ferlinghetti commented that it was "the most beautiful printing of poetry I have ever seen in this country.".

Also includes an introduction by John William Corrington. Octavo: unpaginated with leaves in various colors, some with illustrations. Hand-bound in stiff pictorial wrappers with cork-lined front cover, attached jacket with tissue sheet, and pictorial flap over the fore-edge. Near fine. Considered by many to be Bukowski's most beautifully produced book and the crowning achievement of Loujon Press.
