Item Description: Fluxus., New York., 1970. 17 x 22 inches. Originally conceived by Maciunas during a frustrating delay in the production of 'Fluxus 1', the Fluxus newspaper V-TRE was consistently issued during the period of 1964 - 66, with later numbers appearing only occasionally in 1970, 1976 and 1979. The title was derived from Brecht's earlier one- off journal 'V TRE', and this term was integrated into the title of each issue (possibly adapted from the French 'votre' and /or the English This issue is a folded poster composed of 123 black and white reproductions of photographs by Peter Moore documenting the 'Fluxfest presentation of John Lennon & Yoko Ono'. Laid-in is the single sheet catalogue of events. This number was edited by Robert Watts. Participants included Maciunas (who designed John & Yoko masks for participants), Higgins, Joe Jones, Flynt, and Vostell. This is in fact the ninth issue of the Fluxus newspaper, and is in fact misnumbered no.8. SIGNED (later) by YOKO ONO in silver pen, "Love, Yoko '08". [Ref.
