Hard Back / Cloth Binding. Condition: Good w Some Defects. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. 1. [illustrated with Black and White drawings] (illustrator). Although this copy is sound, and tight with nice cover, it has defects. However, it has been nicely repaired. List of defects. Some spotting on end papers and inside covers, someone had taped in recipes and then pulled them out leaving both tape marks and small holes, and slightly torn edges of the free end papers and the title page. Some of them must have been news clippings, because they pages are slightly darker in those areas. The remainder of the book is in good clean condition, which means the majority of the text itself. However, on page 29/30 one recipe is clipped out, and gone. But has been repaired. We made an exact color photocopy from another book, exactly the right size and pasted the color photoreplica betweet pages 30-31. The two recipes affected by the clipping are Crabmeat Canapes I on page 29, cheese sandwiches with bacon bacon on page 30. All the other recipes are intact. The book is not perfect, but it's been nicely repaired and will last for many many years to come. This is a favorite among cookbook collectors and people who like to cook at home.
