Its name comes from its sitting on the border of Colorado and Kansas. The first post office in the community was established in 1889, but the post office was called Lamborn until 1903. Homesteaders to the area helped build the town and this book is a dedication to them and the others who help develop the little town which now has a population of 153. This book is a compilation of stories, newspaper articles, photographs, family histories, business histories, events, schools, farming, the dust bowl days, and other noteworthy events in the town' s history. A clean very presentable rare book.
