L'uomo si prepara all'intervento con un'ultima, scatenata, notte di sesso, con una prostituta d'alto bordo. Dopo l'intervento cerca di continuare a fare una vita normale (con lavoro e viaggi) ma tutto è molto difficile: prima soffre di incontinenza, poi si sente menomato (come fosse visibile che non ha più un organo), poi inizia a vivere il dramma della vita sessuale negata. Il tempo, tuttavia, fa il suo corso e lui lentamente riesce a riprendere una vita senza drammi, stabilendo perfino una relazione con una donna.
