Cloth. Condition: Good ++. No Jacket. George H. Thomas (illustrator). First Edition. 1st Edition 1867. Signed paper slip in the hand writing of Anthony Trollope. With 32 illustrations by George H. Thomas.Bound in the publisher's original blue cloth with the title stamped in gilt on the spine and front cover. Both books are good++ and quite bright. Both volumes have rubbing at the extremities. Both volumes have slight loss to spine tips with cloth fabric replacement. Gilt on spine dull. Edge rubbed and cloth marked/ soiled. Corners bumped. Hinges quite rubbed in places but nice tight binding. Contents good with light repair to internal gutters. One plate with light staining. Bookplates to both volumes.
