First State, Near Fine Copy With First Issue Catalog (September 1932); Unlike Many Other Copies, Spine Gilt Is Especially Thick And Heavy But Same Design And Typeface, Top Edges Of The Pages Have Publisher's Purple Topstain, And There Is Purple Coloring In The Small Space Between The Gilt Lines At Both Top And Bottom Of Spine. Outer Covers Entirely Covered With A Clear Lacquer-Like Coating Which Is Wearing Off With Apparently No Detrimental Lasting Effect On Cloth Underneath. The Gilt Is As Bright As New.
