Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. A stunning brown leather bound, hardback book, with gilt titles on the spine, along with beautiful tooled decoration. No Jacket. Marbled paper on inside boards, with first and last page also marbled on one side. Pen and ink name on first blank page. The beautiful brown leather boards are nicely worn, with signs of shelf-life wear, please see images. This fabulous book is in really good condition, normal wear, marks and tear apply consistent with use and age. Published in 1909, New Edition, Revised, Enlarged, Brought up to date, and Fully Illustrated. The coloured plates are gorgeous. 2056 pages, all pages intact, all pages, text, illustrations and gorgeous colour plates are in really good, clean, readable order. The odd, and hardly noticeable brown mark on first couple of blank pages, title page and last couple of blank pages, only to be expected considering the book is over 100 years old and the type of paper used. Edge of papers are marbled. Please note this a rather heavy, thick book therefore postage may increase from listed price, depending on final destination. What a book, with so much information, it could take ages to read, but in all seriousness its a book to treasure and is definitely worth and deserves to be preserved for future generations. This stunning book would grace any stylish library or kitchen.
