The decorative frames and accents are taken from authentic Viking designs. The dust jacket states that this is a new edition, but it is a very early printing. The price on the jacket is $2.75 The book is very good to near fine, with shelf wear to bottom edges of boards, and a faint dampstain to rear endpapers. The jacket is also very good to near fine, with 2 1/2 inch chips to spine ends, and a small rubbed area across the title.

And this is the story of Leif, Erik's son, who sailed with his father to Greenland and who later sailed still farther west and found there the continent of America.
