Contains 248 printed pages of text with delightful colour illustrated plates throughout. Spine ends and corners turned in, Sunday School Award label dated 1924 to the front free end paper, age darkened end papers and closed page edges and in Very Good condition, no dust wrapper. Cloth. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Calder, Scott (illustrator). Brown titles and pictorials on beige cloth boards with inset picture to front. Boards are very clean with just some very minor light marks. Internally there is a small neat contemporary name and date and a small Sunday school stamp to front endpaper else very clean, tight and unmarked. Not dated but the British library has two editions - 1901 and 1912 of this work which was first published in 1874. No author stated but believe this is by Lizzie Ellen Tiddeman (1887 - 1937) a prolific Edwardian childrens author. It is a children's story set in America's West and features Native American Indians. 4 full page coloured plates by Scott Calder. A1C Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
