Soft cover. Condition: Good. The cover has a crease but all pages and binding are tight. James Churchward, The Lost Continent Of Mu. Original copy of the 1926 edition with a detailed introduction to its discovery. According to mainstream scientist, Maori/Polynesian ancestors began migrating out of the South China Sea region 4000-6000 years ago. Some travelled west and eventually arrived in Madagascar. Others traveled east into western Micronesia. Others continued southeast down the Melanesian island chain. Some went to eastern Micronesia, while others went to Fiji/Samoa/Tonga 3000 years ago. From then, the eastern portions of Polynesia, such as the Society Islands and Marquesas, were colonized, followed by the extremes: Easter Island, Hawaii, and New Zealand. Their journey was purposeful, and it marked the first human settlement in the world's last livable zones. However, in his book The Lost Continent of Mu, Col. James Churchward pointed out new disclosures, ground-breaking discoveries, the final unlocking of mysteries, and the foretold overthrow of conventional wisdom. He proposed that the Pacific peoples descended from a buried continent with a higher ancient culture. Geological catastrophes explain their past, which is documented by ancient ruins. This ancient civilization's heritage can be found in the Pacific Ocean, such as modern-day Eastern Island. Easter Island, the most isolated spot ever inhabited by man, is a treeless volcanic rock barely thirteen miles long and seven miles wide, slowly being eaten away by the waves and lost in the great emptiness of the Pacific Ocean two thousand miles off the coast of Chile and fifteen hundred miles from the nearest Polynesian archipelago. It now sustains only a few locals, largely half-castes, many of whom are lepers. These four hundred and fifty people, who are currently under Chilean authority, are the only descendants of the men who established one of the most original civilizations to leave a trace. Nonetheless, they have almost completely forgotten their history, up to now.
