Charming story by this prolific children's author of a year in the life of an imaginative seven year old girl whose red round cheeks had earned the nickname of "Red Apple." When she was a little older, she decided Madam should be added to her name. Illustrated, mostly in full color and with many full page paintings, by Janet Laura Scott. Unpaginatedl Good overall in a rather fragile binding of illustrated paper covered boards - missing the spine covering - but the covers and the contents are still bright and attractive. No dust jacket.
