First American edition, translated from the Norwegian by Nils Flaten. This work was originally published in 1928 in Norwegian as Fortellinger fra fronten. Ti rs minner og mer fra verdenskrigen. Froisland (1883-1930) was a journalist working for the Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten reporting from the front in Europe during World War I, and these are stories based on his experiences. No marks in book, binding tight, light foxing to preliminaries. Covers show edge wear, chipping to title label not affecting any text. Book condition VG-. Edition: Stated First Edition Binding: HB.
