This is a hardcover book with 236 pages including many photos and illustrations. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. There is a one-inch light stain on the bottom corner next to the binding on the first 15 pages. The pages are otherwise clean with no tears or writing. The copyright page states 1950 Third Printing. The covers are clean with just a hint of edgewear and there is a tiny chip on the spine. This old book looks and feels great! We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!.

The orange and black dust jacket is about 99% intact with light chipping on the upper spine and edges, light foxing and soiling and moderate edgewear. I have placed the DJ in a fresh mylar jacket and this old book looks and feels great! We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!.

The publisher's cloth-covered binding is sturdy and fresh, its corners sharp, the silver-stamped lettering at its front panel and its spine bright; its contents, though bearing a slight mustiness, are unmarked but for the previous owner's name at the top edge of its front free endpaper. A receipt for the book, dated "16 Mar 1953," is laid in. The unclipped ($5.00) dust jacket is worn at its top edge and age-toned at its rear panel, with a three-quarter inch tear at the head of its front hinge. 640 grams.
