Very Good+: The Pictorial Paper over Boards show minimal wear; very light soiling to the boards themselves and a one-and-a-quarter inch round shadow at the lower corner of the title page, where a sticker has evidently been removed; the boards are slightly bowed; envelope holdng the record is torn at the edges; the binding is square and secure; the text is clean. Overall, the contents and covers are clean and sound. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. Oblong 8vo. 20 pages, with four pages of black and white photographs. A 45 rpm EP record of Lyrebird song is enclosed in a sleeve to the inner board. The record is still in it's original plastic cover and is placed inside a record sleeve and attached to the book. The record is in excellent condition. The sleeve has opened slightly along the bottom edge. Lovely photographs of Theresa the Lyrebird, and the story of how the author got to know this timid, wild little bird. Side one of the record has recordings of 1. - Superb Lyrebird -calling in the deep forest and 2. -Albert Lyrebird side two has 15 recordings of the Lyrebirds imitations and no 16 is a selection of ' how many of the Superb Lyrebird's imitations you can recognize '.
